We've had fun watching a Northern Flicker roost in the nestbox the last few nights. It's been very cold here lately, for SoCal, down into the teens, so we think that this little girl (?) has decided to stay warm in our nestbox.
Flickers are a native species and, therefore, welcomed fully to utilize our nestbox!
